So you ask,
what is a giclée?
The giclée has become a
valuable part today's limited edition fine art world.
Giclée, a word derived from the French verb meaning,
"that which is sprayed by a nozzle," is an
archival fine art digital print. The giclee process sprays
high-quality ink onto canvas to create a stunning reproduction of an
original artwork. The resolution of the giclée
process
offers the most superior reproductions available.
In short - these pieces look amazingly like the
original oil paintings, even down to the textured
details on the canvas. Just to give you an idea of
the size in one particular case, the Phantom and
Christine's heads are slightly larger-than-life in
"One Love, One Lifetime".
Our large format giclées
measure 16"x20"
and are sent to you rolled in a tube. They are
intended to be mounted on a backing board and then
framed.
At
present, five of our pieces are featured
in this special size. These include "Unspoken
Secrets", "Christine's
Kiss", "Return to Me", "One Love, One Lifetime",
"Phantom's Serenade" (in an even larger 18x24 size) and
"Love Endures". These
extraordinary pieces are now available for purchase here
on our website.
